Restorative Yoga for Stress Relief is a calming and relaxing class full of gentle stretching. This nourishing, stress relieving class encourages you to cultivate the attitude of letting go, and relaxes deeply held tensions from both body and mind. Restorative yoga triggers the parasympathetic nervous system which can help lower heart rate and blood pressure, and help stimulate the immune system. Expect a slow paced class with poses held from 1-5 minutes to release stress and tension. Wear comfortable clothing, and consider bringing an extra layer to stay cosy and warm. This class will also include a relaxing breath practice and guided meditation.
