Chair yoga is a practice suitable for seniors, anyone who finds getting up and down from the floor difficult, and anyone looking to increase range of motion, improve balance and increase flexibility and strength.

In this practice, yoga poses have been modified to be practiced sitting on a chair, or using a chair for support when standing. There is no getting up and down from the floor required though an option will be given near the end of class to do some reclining poses if you are able to (seated poses are offered during this time if you do not wish to get down to the floor).

 

In Studio & Livestream on Zoom

You can attend this class in the studio (211 N.Bowie St, Jasper, TX), or stream it live wherever you are using zoom; simply select your preference on the sign up form so that we send a link if you're joining us online.

 

Payment

If you have an active class pass, one session will be deducted from your pass.

Please download zoom in advance and sign up for a free account.

Due to technical restrictions I am often not able to see you clearly in all poses as I usually can in the studio. With this in mind, please only practice what feels good to you and skip/modify poses where necessary.

Login details will be sent out approx. 30 minutes prior to the session beginning. If you are signing up within 30 minutes of the session start time, please message 409-698-6335 to receive your login.
